Dear Colleague,
We invite you to participate in a survey of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) Committee on Allergy Diagnosis & Precision Allergy Molecular Diagnostic Applications (PAMD@).
Our aim is to create a knowledge base for the current state of the art in application of molecular based IgE screening methods in the world.
While this technology was introduced as component-resolved diagnosis (CRD) in allergy, the novel term PAMD@ better mirrors its impact in precision allergy medicine, to predict the risk for severe reactions, the impact of cross-reactivities for the individual patients, and the efficacy of allergen-specific immunotherapy (PAMD@ article link).
We would like to ask for your collaboration, in order to get a fair global picture over the clinical application of PAMD@. From the survey, not only will the unmet needs be deduced but our efforts will result in a call for action towards PAMD@ as well.
